What You Were Like When You Were Born

This demonstration is taken from the book NUMBERS: The Key To The Universe

The idea is that you take your (or somebody else's) birth date (dd/mm/yy) and from that you can tell what your formative character was like. This is, of course, complete rubbish - but fun!

• Suppose your birth date was 12 June 1979. Write this in the form 12/6/79.
• Now add the digits 1+2+6+7+9 = 25.
• Keep going until you get to one of the numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-11-22. In this case you need to add 2+5 = 7. (If you get 10 then you add 1+0 = 1)
• Look at the chart below.

1   BOSSY, IMPULSIVE, FULL OF YOURSELF
2   AFFECTIONATE, SHY, DEEP THINKER
3   PARTY ANIMAL, ENTHUSIATIC (and probably rather irritating)
4   COOL, RELIABLE WORKER, GOOD ORGANISER
5   ADVENTUROUS, RESTLESS (will try anything once)
6   DOMESTICATED, SENSIBLE, VERY STRONG MINDED
7   A LONER ... whose mind is away with the fairies
8   MONEY DRIVEN and RUTHLESS
9   AMAZING IMAGINATION (rarely looks smart)
11   ARTISTIC, INSPIRING, VISIONARY (usually impractical)
22   DETERMINED, PRACTICAL and ... on a mission to Save The World.
